Our Team
This committee of parents was formed 6 years ago as a fundraiser for the 8th grade Washington DC trip. This is a truly amazing 40 plus year tradition. The cost of the trip is covered by parents themselves with the help of PCS 8th grade fundraisers.
The Race
The annual chip timed 5k Freeze is set on the beautiful campus of Pomfret School in Pomfret CT on February 8, 2020. It is a wonderful event where young children, grandparents, faculty, staff, community members and of course, the 8th graders themselves, can enjoy a fun and healthy outdoor activity together!
Our Goals
To send each student to Washgington , DC. While this race is the largest source of revenue for the PCS students, this volume of success comes from companies to make financial contributions that are an investment in our students.
